Synopsis
When New Years Eve doesn’t go quite to plan for Jaime, she contemplates turning right around and heading straight home, until a striking Australian relief manager attempts to twist her arm. Will Jaime decide to do the sensible thing and say goodbye, imagining what might have been that night, forever? Or will she stay to experience a rare night of lascivious indulgence with a red-hot, sweet-talking stud-muffin? The decision is easier than she thought.

I was really fighting time to hit my target!
But I remembered reading this one a few years back on New Years Eve so figured it would be a perfect little trip down memory lane. Even if I used the Alexa App to read it to me in the car while driving. FYI. Not the same!
And I'm reviewing in Feb... So my memory is pants!
Jaime is set on spending New Years in. like any sane, normal person. Especially before a day of travel.
But at her friends insistence, she heads to the pub/bar to meet them and ring in the new year. Crossed wires or at least bar names, finds Jaime in the wrong place. But it certainly feels like a wrong place, right time kinda situation.
Because there she meets Jake. A hot Australian who is heading back home. Realising that she won't make it to the correct location in time she stays put and after the new year is celebrated and the lights come back on, the party-goers headed home... Jaime and Jake decide to ring their own new year in.
Wish hot sex and body shots.
It's one night of body freedom for Jaime and after the fact, when this all done and she's back to reality he sends her the video footage... which I found to be adorable.
I can't review too deeply because of my memory but it was a good short read and I wish there was more too it... like years later they re-connect in a meet-cute!
But we shall never know.
