Synopsis

A spicy small-town romance and TikTok phenomenon, perfect for fans of Hannah Grace and Stephanie Archer.

When Jeanie's aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.

Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor's gossip at all costs. But Jeanie's arrival disrupts Logan's routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will Jeanie's happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won't fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…

The Pumpkin Spice Café is a cozy romantic mystery for fans of Gilmore Girls, with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

Tropes:

Review

I know this book hit the craze market a while ago and I'm only just reading it, but I thought an autumn book in an autumn setting fit the bill!

And I am a basic white bitch and I love a pumpkin spice latte!

Enter Dream Harbour! A quaint little town that I really want to live in because it sounds amazing.

Jeanie has been handed the business from her auntie after finding her boss dead, I'd take that swap.

But nothing is perfect especially with Casper the Ghost lurking, but it's okay, She signs up Logan, the hunky farmer she just met and tried to maim to help with solving her spooking issue. And the 'close knit' town are all for it.

Even if Logan is reluctant to get close, he finds himself not really having a choice because he's attracted to Jeanie, even if has that lingering pain in the back after being humiliated by Lucy. He can't keep his hands to himself but those doubts about her intentions linger in the air between them.

Maybe they could work through their issues though if they spoke to each other and didn't bolt when their version of what was happening was the truth, rather than the truth.

Eventually the pieces started to fall into place though like a downpour! and it made me super happy that Logan dropped the "hide like a little boy" routine and stand out. I mean I'd be humiliated but Good for those pair!

I can't wait to get stuck into the next book in Dream Harbour!
