Synopsis

From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new stand-alone friends-to-lovers sports romance. A spin-off from the Only One series

Chase

Everyone expected me to play hockey.

I was good at it, but I was better at being a doctor.

So I hung up the skates and joined Doctors without Borders

But there is no place like home, so now I’m back.

And instead of being on the ice, I’m behind the bench as the team physician.

After years of playing cat and mouse, it’s time to admit it.

She’s mine.

Julia

Working as a social worker was a dream come true.

It wasn’t easy, and it has made me shut off my heart to love.

No commitment. No strings. No promises.

Until one fateful night changed everything.

He was there for me like no other one.

The biggest thing is I let him.

Review

Happy Dances into this book!
I think Natasha Madison is my new Author crush because I love her books right now and this series is amazing because you literally get a taste of all the family!
Their family makes mine look small and I realise now how people get confused with all these names in my life stories because I cannot grasp them but I love them

Julia is part of the Grant family through marriage. Her twin sister, is married to Michael. Michael is a hockey player and his cousin chase is a medic for the team, although when he has free time he pulls shifts at his local hospital. (See shit with names)

Julia is involved and as much of the Grant family as her sister, by association and she seems to fit in perfectly but she has her own job and life and she's a bad ass one at that working in child services and this introduces her to one of her clients and her daughter.

On this occasion Julia's belief in someone sorting their life out back fires and her life literally gets chewed up, trampled on and spat back out a few bloody times. And through it all, Chase has been by her side. Why? because he saw it unfold from the moment Julie arrived at the hospital.

Ashamed to admit the decisions she makes she pours her heart, soul and tears onto Chase, who is basically her rock.

And through those moments their boundary lines of flirting melt away into a fiery relationship that moves quickly and I'm. All. For. It!

Honestly I feel like I need the whole damn catalogue of Natasha Madison!

Thankfully everything works itself out in all areas of Julia's life and I'm so glad she got her happy ending because I was so made at how it all played out and wanted to punch make believe characters! Love Love Loved it! and it should be on everyone's TBR list!

About the Author

When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
